Herrington Park is a country park which is built on the site of a former colliery. It has a large lake where you will see many bird species . It is opposite Penshaw Monument.
The session will start at 10.00 am.
We will meet in the car park. Once you have completed the PARQ and been provided with a set of poles we will make our way onto the grass area
You will be taken through the first 5 steps of the INWA 10 step technique.
After the lesson we have found that the best way to get the most out of your session is to practice what you have learned by Nordic Walking, we will walk up to 2-3 miles.
As is tradition, we end with a trip to a tearoom. Penshaw Tearoom is over the road. You are very welcome to join us.
Hope to see you there.
