Chris, Ruth, Julie, Claire, Tessa and Chris are taking part in the Virtual Kiltwalk on Saturday 12 September to raise monies for Cancer Research UK.
The Virtual Kiltwalkers will be walking from Craster to Lesbury and yes they will be wearing kilts!
Martin and Simon will be supporting with transport to the start. They will be ready and waiting with refreshments at the end of the walk.
We have created a Just Giving page and if you would like to sponsor/donate we would be very grateful.
If you would like to join us or take part in your own Virtual Kiltwalk, then you can register here – Virtual Kiltwalk Registration.
The Kiltwalk is usually held in various locations in Scotland throughout the year. Unfortunately, the organisers have had to cancel all of the Kiltwalks this year. As a replacement, they have designated the weekend of the 11th-13th September as the Virtual Kiltwalk Weekend.
Chris wanted to take part in the Kiltwalk this year in memory of her dear friend Jo, who sadly lost her battle with cancer earlier this year. We decided to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, as many of our walkers have recovered from cancers. Also, some are still currently undergoing treatment.
We hope you can donate to our page and we would love to see your photos if you arrange your own Virtual walk.
Julie, Ruth and Chris xx
